The slipcovers are here!

I ♥ them more than I ever thought possible. 

 They were a huge, huge pain in the ass to put on, but so worth it. 

 I got them from here. They sell name brand, fancy schmancy slips for a fraction of the cost.

Like I mentioned before, I got 1 couch and 2 chairs for $104, and $25 of that was shipping. 

The brand that I ended up getting rhymes with Schmottery Schmarn.

They come with instructions, but I am a visual person so this was perfect.

 

In fact, I would probably still be messing with them if it weren't for this video.

Now of course, having something new brings to light how crappy the rest of your stuff is. Suddenly my rug looks pretty grungy. The patches of sample paint on the walls look even more ridiculous than they did a *ahem* year ago when I painted them.

I am still working on the desk area. I had planned to paint the table today, but it has rained. I will get to it as soon as I can. I am working n the shelves. I am absolutely horrible at trying to accessorize anything, so it wil a long process. I also need to polyurethane the tops of the shelves. Don't even ask me how many splinters I have had these past few days.
